"It's never easy to say goodbye

"Nana's gone" was difficult to hear

It's hard to find the right words to say

For our Nana was so dear

She loved us...deeply loved us

With her strong, maternal pride

We were always safe and happy

With Nana by our side

She wasn't simply "Grandma"

That word does not suffice

In expressing love for Nana..."
